Corporate Controller

Description:We are currently seeking a driven, outgoing and forward thinking Corporate Controller. The Corporate Controller is a �hands on" manager reporting directly to the CFO and is responsible for internal management and operational accounting; financial reporting; banking relationships, taxes; overseeing and developing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll personnel; updating and implementing accounting policies, procedures and controls; work closely with and provide support to senior management and ensure the company continually maintains compliance with accounting requirements.



Duties:Recommend and implement company Accounting policies, procedures and practices.
Lead month end close process and meet established deadlines.
Assist in the development of multi-year business plans.
Ensure accounting system is structured efficiently and allows for accurate, timely and consistent reporting.
Provide leadership, career growth, and training for team members.
Create a culture of partnership and service mentality.
Lead activity to improve current financial reporting processes and content.
Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests.
Manage annual audits with auditors.
Manage periodic statutory reporting.
Financial analysis, modeling, due diligence and evaluation of accounting implications of merger and acquisition activities.
Qualifications:Minimum 10 years progressive and proven leadership experience.
B.S. in Accounting or Business Administration
Accounting experience with multi-site/state environment
Expert knowledge of accounting and auditing fundamentals.
Demonstrated leadership as part of a cross-functional operations management team.
Sound planning, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
High level of proficiency in PC spreadsheets, relational databases and accounting systems; Prior experience with Deltek Vision for Accounting highly desirable.
Experience with day to day operations in a fast paced environment.
Strong written and interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with all levels of employees.
